Can someone clear something up? [Noob Question]

Sign in to disble this ad
Sorry if this has been already been answered, but i'm a bit of a noob when it comes to amps, as I've only ever had combos.

So let's say I have a 500watt solid state amp, and I want to run two 8ohm cabs. No problem, right?

So let's say this amp has two speaker outs on the back.. What do I do? Do I put one cab in one, one in the other? Or do I put one in one, and then connect the two cabs..?

Did that make sence..?

Sorry for the noobness, help me out?

No difference. I prefer to run each cab from the back of the head.

I am assuming that your cabs are both 8 ohms. That means you are putting a 4ohm load on your amp. Your amp should be able to handle it. But YOU SHOULD CHECK ANYWAY.
