Can you recommend a replacement tube for ECC81

A couple of things to keep in mind:
  1. The pedal runs on a 12V/500mA power supply so in reality the tube only plays a small part in the gain structure & tone of the pedal (true tube circuits run at much higher voltages).
  2. This pedal is not a preamp and may or may not respond well to tube swapping.
I would first determine what brand of 12AT7/ECC81 the pedal uses and perhaps experiment with a different brand of the same tube. Here's a partial list of 12AT7/ECC81 manufacturers:12AT7 / ECC81 Tube Types

If you need more gain then you could try a 12AX7 and see where that takes you. I'm not one to needlessly mess with an established product. I would try and live with the unit as it was designed and learn how to get to its sweet spot.

These would likely give you the best control over the effect of swapping devices. Don't know when/if they are shipping.
