How is it that Carvin can manufacture their products in the USA and still hit a low price point? I am referring specifically to their bass cabinets.

No middle man type issues would be a strong reason. They make their own stuff and sell primarily from their website. Which means also that they are less well known because they aren't sold through any distributors. Also they don't really advertise their products. A lot of money goes to these to issues by other companies.

By selling direct to the consumer, they eliminate the mark up of the distributors/music stores. Low overhead, low advertising budget, and the savings are passed on to the customer.
