Carvin B1500 = Extreme Work Horse!

One of the local Blues clubs here in town was having a big re-opening party. I play in the house band which we were the first on stage. Also I volunteered my bass rig for the other bands to use. Figuring Carvin = Heavy Duty it would be fine.

That puppy was on from 4PM to around 2AM straight with one band after another hitting the stage. Even with a couple of bass players I though were a bit too loud, the B1500 just belted out the bottom end like a champ! It was pretty hot by the end of the night, I am sure the fan was working overtime. But it never faltered! A true testament to good old USA built amplifiers!

Here it is on top of two of my Avatar cabinets, playing my '72 jazz through it.

Great story! That B1500 is a killer head, to be sure. It's a solid competitor at any price range, and flat-out amazing when you consider its price point (and the fact that it is made in the USA).

Here's mine on its most recent gig, driving my two fEarfuls:
