(Both are GREAT amps!) | There have been many people here wanting to know how the two amps compare and your post makes you the resident EXPERT.
Please elaborate... |

This might be a keeper | Is that a 12/12/6/1 or 15's? Whetever it is I'll bet it crushes.

I've only done one gig with he B2000 and it was through speakers I wasn't familiar with, so it was hard to make a direct comparison. My initial thoughts are that i like the eq points on the B1500 slightly better, but I like the lack of weight and size of the B2000.
I'm planning to incorporate the B2000 into my main rig soon so ill have a better idea of how the two amps compare after I've done some gigs through my own speakers.

I used a 1212/6/1 so that it doesn't crush TOO much. Very flexible rig that can hang in a coffee shop, or an outdoor gig. Yes, overkill for the coffee shop thing, but it has very even tone even at low volume.
On stage, the pairing with the Carvin was the best yet. I've never heard myself so well on stage before, and I've had some pretty good heads, including a Mesa M9, Genz Benz Shuttlemax 12 and an Eden WT-800.
So far, the Carvin wins the top spot for live gigs. |

fEARful 12/6/1 stacked on my 1515/66/1. True power, and with all three of those mid drivers lining up, amazing presence and clarity.

But seriously, it seemed like a while back TB folks could not stop talking about these amps. Trends come and go I guess. Tom Bowlus said the B1500 sounds amazing through the fearful cabinets. Quote:

| | | | I don't have a B1500 but I sure love my BX1200, which is the older version of the "class D" head BX1500. I make full use of the bi-amp ability of the amp, which is DYNOMITE!!
Love to hear a comparison between my BX1200 (bridged) and a B1500 into a monster cab someday. |

Nice 5-string Stingray. I love those double humbucker models. Quote:
