Hey All!! I have had people asking me For Some sound clips of the fEARful with the carvin b2000 head... well i finely got them So here they are!! These are all originals That the my Band recorded in a live recording with everything Miked Up. There were just grooves That our Keyboardist and Sax player Made up literary about 10 mins Before we recorded each song. Well Call This our Basement Sessions. Like i said before I am Playing a through a Cravin B2000 Head with a Miked Up fEARful 1515/66/1 and am using a Fender AM Jazz Deluxe V. I know i am not anywhere near as good of bass Player as probably most of you on here But I have fun and enjoy it very Much Would not want to play anything else!!Hope you Enjoy it. For me The song Skyline is my Personal Favorite But Let Me Know what you think. Quordal Fusion
Just a lil Side Note the song "Vestibulum" Was made up on the fly and just happened to be recording it as we did it.... So every Mistake you hear are all original none practiced lol .. But yeah It was alot of fun... Just going where ever the music led us!!

Question: what were your settings on the b2000?

Question: what were your settings on the b2000? | Thanks man. Trust me I am not at a jazz level of bass at all ether I just fake my way through it. Lol as for settings on the b2000 i run it pretty much flat with a lil boost in the sub and bass and backed off a lil on the treble since the 1515/66/1 is so clean I have to back the treble off a bit other wise I will shatter glass with them eighteen sound 6's Quote:

| | | | Awesome clips man. Is the clip representative of how that cab actually sounds in person? Sounds super fat and clear with a ton of bass. If so, I think a fearful is in my future. Previous clips I heard lead me to believe they are a little too sterile sounding for my tastes, but this changes my mind. Great playing by the way, don't dog yourself.

Just got Done Doing a Big Concert for Black history Month where every bass played there was playing through that cab....none of them could get over how Awesome it sounded. The comment i got that most was that they had never played through something that was sooo punchy clean, and with a Lowend they had never ever herd come out of a cab and yet not break up. One of the Guys was playing a bass with a Open A tuning....He had never played through a cab that could handle it the way the fEARful did and with such clarity!! I could go on and on about what other people have said.... but pretty much it all comes back to that they have never played through a cab that could do all the fEARful can do. It is just amazing!! Like i have said before whatever sound you send from your head that cab will make it happen. That super Fat clean Sound with all the bass you hear and like is what my head is giving the cab.... the cab it self is not changing it at all. The D.I. Sound is the same as what is coming out of the Cab...it is amazing how well the fEARful reproduces it so perfectly!! Ok I will stop there lol Thankx again glad you enjoyed it!! cheers !!

Sounds like a tube pre and a big fearful cab is in my future. My Mesa 410 doesn't have the lows I desire

My Mesa 410 doesn't have the lows I desire | I have an LDS 15/6 and it is a superb match with my carbine head. It is the only cab I have tried that can reproduce the carbine's lows. These heads do not seem to have a high pass filter that cuts boom below 40Hz and they bring many cabs to their knees pretty easily. Multi-driver cabs based on the long excursion woofers and low box tuning are the perfect mate for these heads.
