Hi People, I can not find reviews of users about this combo.
It seems to have great features, good Power and portability, but what about quality??

I appreciate any info on this.

Thanks

I believe it uses the BX500 head.

I own one and it hasn't even hiccuped in the two and a half years I have owned it.
I have played lots and lots of gigs at substantial volume. Sounds great.
It has great power, amazing flexibility withe the eq, Can take a 2 ohm load and is light as heck.
Oh and since I have owned it, I have not had one ounce of GAS for another amp. I wish I can say the same thing about basses.

You know, I have no idea! I have never opened it up. I have heard that they come in 8 ohms.

I was told by Carvin that it's 8 ohm.

I believe they are 4ohms - at least the 2x10 cab is 4 ohms. There is a switch on the back of the amp to select 4 or 2ohms minimum load.

Had one. Too clean a tone for me, but nice power. Combo is 8ohm.

..

The 15” combo is warmer than the 2x10 combo, which is clearer. Whatever you like.
I believe the earlier versions of these combos where 4 ohms (internally) but then they changed them to 8 ohms.
Since the head is 500w, you know it’s an 8 ohm cab because Carvin says it’s 350w standalone.
This is a better design IMO because there was no way to get the internal speakers/cab to handle 500w for that price.
It’s still a great 350w combo for the price because of all the features and ability to add an additional 8 or 4 ohm cab for the full 500w (it operates at 2 ohms).
Personally I prefer the 15” combo because I’m a rocker. Jazzy/pop guys might prefer the 2x10 version though.

- Rack Space: 2U adapter end-plates

- Net Weight: 48 lbs
- Made in San Diego, CA

I have since sold mine for lack of ability to find that 'tone' I was looking for.
These are really great amp heads for pushing a clean tone hard, but the cab whined a bit under louder playing instances.

*RMS 2 Ohms: limited = 500watts
