Carvin BX1200 (Clips)

When I went to buy my Carvin rig, clips were scarce...so here are some videos of me and some friends playing a walk for the cure benefit. I'm playing through a Carvin BX1200 with a 4x10 and a 1x15.

Ohio - YouTube

(P.S.You might want to wear headphones, for some reason the recording volume was extremely low)

Great idea (posting Carvin amps at gigs). The sound level from both videos is very low. I've got all the level controls on my computer maxed and can barely get sound. I would like to start a thread with Carvin's amps at gigs. Right now I only have my R600 on Youtube. Maybe the next gig I'll get the BX1500 on there. Keep Rockin'.

I've been on the look out for one of these amps (or a BX1500) used. I'm happy with my GK 700RB-II for now but would like one of these down the road. Great amps. Thanks for posting.

I have a BX1200 and two DB cabs which I run in bi-amp mode. I also just bought a ZOOM hand-held recorder which really is great for recording live music. I purchased all the accessories which gives me a total of 5 hours recording. Very convenient, good quality built-in mic and very easy to use. Here it is;

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846

They make a hi-definition (video) version but it costs 140 bucks more. Not worth it for me, the video is good enough.

I've actually got a nice HD camcorder, with an external mic in slot. I believe the problem was that the person running the camera turned the recording volume down too much (Probably thinking it would clip). The camera actually records great audio, and with an external mic, could be even better!

Good suggestion to anyone else that might be looking though. Personally I went with the Canon HF R10.
