Carvin BX1500 & B2000 Reliability Poll

Sign in to disble this ad
There are a few great active threads about the Carvin BX1500 and B2000 heads, but it is really hard to get a grasp of the true reliability of these heads by reading the threads, so I thought a poll would help.

Please limit responses to the heads only, i.e., no combo speaker issues please.

Edit: The poll lists "BX2000" - this should be "B2000".

This looks like a worthwhile poll. I'm in the market for one of these heads and am interested in the results as well.

Read one case of a B2000 shutting down on the 2nd gig.

You need a selection for people who don't own this head so that they can see the results. I had to mark that I don't have any problems with the BX1500 when I don't even own a BX1500 so that I could see the results of this poll. The poll is flawed.

I voted with no problems with my BX1500. I've only had it for 5 days, but it has been used for 3-5 hours a day since I got it. It is in a no A/C garage style warehouse and it gets plenty hot in there being in South Florida. I gigged with it the day after I got and it never got hot. Forum member gatorben24 drove an hour to check it out on Sunday and ordered him self on on Monday, I think he ordered the BX10.4 NEO as well.

So he made a mistake and used a smart@$$ smiley. Lets not use this thread to point out a mistake more than once. Vinxbass has PMed me out of the blue to help me , in depth, with a question.

Cool, but it doesn't show that on my screen because I probably already voted.
