Carvin Bx250

I've used the search engine, and have heard some mixed reviews. Anyone that owns it, I would VERY much appreciate your personal opinions. I'm lookin for a very clean sound, with little muddiness. Can I find it with this little carvin head? Thanks guys

Bumpin' this as it's on my short list for small/mediumish amps, mostly due to features the others don't have-----sweep knobs, di level adjustment, etc.

Yes I know about the "I just paid for a new amp and I think it's great" threads. Looking for some post-honeymoon opinions, like after the new wears off.

Thanks,

Will

Carvin BX 250 is the Stuff!

This amp is killer, great tone, EQ and compression in a small package you can toss in your carry on bag.

As good or better than Genz Benz and Mark III bass heads at half or less than the price@

I have two Carvin MB10 combo amps that use the same BX250 head in a combo format. I can't say enough about it. They have a good sound and have a lot of flexibility. I use one MB10 with an Eden 1x12 extension for more volume and the other MB10 is used for my son's electronic drums. It's all good.
