Question Carvin BX500 Rackmounting Question

Hey guys, I'm going to buy the Carvin BX500 soon but I also want the SV2 rack thing to protect it. The description says the SV2 is only for 2-space gear like the BX1500 and BX2000, but not the BX500. In this case, if I want to get the BX500 with the SV2, do I have to buy their BX500RP rack mounting plate?

Just remember that the sleeve will offer zero protection to the front panel controls. That's the reason my BX1500 went into a rack case.

My BX 500 goes to and from gigs in my gig bag. That was the reason I bought a small powerfull amp.

I have three BX 500's. Two are mounted in my Carvin six space rack case. The third is mounted in a BR515N combo. They are well protected!
