Carvin MB15 Bass Amp

Anyone own this amp?

I first got into playing bass adding bass to my recordings (hobby) I'm now thinking about getting a bass amp.

I don't know much about bass amps. I'm primarily a guitar player.

I don't want to spend too much money, but I don't want to buy junk.

Thanks in advance.

I have not played one, but that sure looks like a nice amp for the money. So while I can't offer any experience, I can offer a bump - hoping to get somebody's attention who HAS played one :-)

You would not be buying junk at all. That is a great amp at a great price. I have been playing a Carvin combo for 14 years and never had a single problem (other than than 1 blown fuse)

I have had this amp for about 2 months or so. It's a really good practice amp and is probably a good small gig amp. I've only used it for practice. If you are recording and want to use as a monitor I think it would work well for that.

Use the search function. Somewhere on this board there's a HUGE Carvin Micro Amp thread that'll give you all the info you need.

It’s plenty for small gigs and rehearsals by itself (200w), and really comes to life when you drop an extension under it for a full 250w gig-rig.
Has all the pro-features, including pre/post XLR out and level for recording. Great buy.

Just picked one of these up. (came today)

I just have to say, this little baby kicks ass.

All the bells and whistles, plenty loud, sounds great.
Great for practice, and small gigs. Would be fine for bigger gigs with second cab.

This is a no brainer, for the money.
