The carvin is 400 the peavey is 450 Which do you think would be a better buy? I play music like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFuUAeiSN4M

Also the carvin has 2 new speakers on the top Idk if this should change my opinion at all. They both look like they're in good condition also, the link i sent above is the tone of my bass.

The Carvin is significantly lighter, that's for sure. Might be important to you, might not . . .

I haven't read any of the details of these two particular cabs, nor of your music. And I don't need to...

The Carvin Redline series is functional, but nothing special. The Peavey TVX is widely regarded as one of the ballsiest lower-priced bass cabs ever, but heavy.

If you don't mind the extra weight, the choice is clear: the TVX...

I would go with the Peavey TVX. The Carvin BRX series cabs. are great but the Redline is just alright. The Peavey TX and TVX series cabs. are really good. They are just BUTT HEAVY! I had the 4x10 version and I loved it. The weight killed my back though, so I sold it to my Keyboard player and he still has it.
