Casters/wheels for small amp?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for some smallish casters or wheels I can put on my Fender Rumble 15. It's not because it's heavy, it's not, it's just that, in my teeny apartment, it would make it easier to just roll it out of the way (which I have to do quite often) than to pick it up to move.
Yes, you could say I'm lazy.
Any suggestions?

Lowe's, Home Depot or any hardware store should have a good variety of casters.

Carvin.com sells a dolly for 50 bucks-eliminates the need to drill into your cab and can be used for other things as well.

I got a mover's dolly a couple of weeks ago with a Harbor Freight flyer coupon. It was only $8.99, has three inch wheels, and fits my Carvin LS 1503 perfectly.

Casters

Harbor Freight has a 1000 lb movers dolly for $7.99 on sale this week ... and there's a 20% off coupon as well. I have one under my Rumble.

these are great casters

Amazon.com: Steelex D2598 3-Inch 150-Pound Swivel Double Lock Rubber Plate Caster, Gray: Home Improvement

I LOVE these casters! I have gone through atleast 20 different sets of casters over the years with various bass amps I've had to haul around, and these casters are, by far, the best medium/smallish casters I've found for the price. Anything smaller than 3" gets caught in the cracks of a sidewalk way to easy....

Thanks, but anything bigger than two inches (even that is pushing it) On my Rumble 15 is way too big. I'm not looking for casters to transport it from one place to another, I'm just looking to move it around my bedroom to quickly wheel it out of the way when I need to (told ya I was lazy!LOL). That's also why I don't want a dolly as has been suggested. I'm just looking for some small casters (less than two inches in diameter) to screw onto the bottom of the amp. I see that Musician's Friend has a 4-piece set made by Ernie ball that might do at about $22, if I can't find something smaller.
