Castors for Marshall B150

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi,

Im new here so hi to all.

I have just noticed that two out of four of the feet on my amp are broken! It is really heavy anyway so im thinking of fitting castors to it. Can anyone recomend any that are simple to fit without drilling the enclosure? I think i will have to drill holes which ireally dont want to have to do but as it is so heavy i think i might end up doing it if i need to to fit wheels to it.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Wayne.

Might want to check www.partsexpress.com. They offer detachable casters which slide into low-profile mounting plates; an improvement over the post-type configuration. Move the cab to its desired location, tip, and slide the casters off. Since the feet are broken, you may want to install neoprene replacements. Sorry, you'll have to drill on all counts. Or...

Build a castered, carpeted dolly like the furniture movers use.

Let us know exactly what you ordered (part #) and whether or not they work out. I need to order some myself (for Acme B-4) but would like an opinion before pulling the trigger.

Happy Easter!

Be sure to use castor oil so they glide smoothly for a long time:
