I'm having Don at LDS build me a nEarful 15/6/1
I haven't decided on the finish yet, though.
I have cats. I have dogs too, but the cats are the issue for the cabinet.
I like Duratex - it's tough. But it's only available (through Don) in black.
I haven't had Tolex on a cab in forever. Don offers some really nice looking Tolex. For those of you with cats - is Tolex a no-no?

Cat's goin' down. Don't know how or where, but DOWN.
And our tolex is safe from cats, but not tailgates, stairs, or doorjambs.

I've had cabs with tolex and cloth grills, and my cats and dog haven't paid any attention to them. Can't say the same about carpet-covered cabs, though. If they start getting too interested, you could always give 'em a few dB's of slap bass |

Do a cool color tolex. If you're getting a custom cab built, don't sacrafice the looks because of your cat. Get whatever you want!

| | | | I have two cats in my house. I've had Tolex, carpet, and cloth grilles on my amps.
The thing about cats and amp furnishings is a cat can't wreck your gear if it has no claws.

People put up with all kinds of crap with cats that I'd never tolerate from my dog.
