Ceriatone Super Bass or Hiwatt kit?

Has anyone built/used either? I feel like it may be cheaper and fun to buy one of these as opposed to a vintage amp.

Do you have the experience and know how to build a large tube amp?

If you do, then go for it.

If you do not, then look elsewhere.

Send a message via AIM to Mark Olson
You can buy those prebuilt. Check around youtube for some soundclips. I think those would be pretty cool amps.

I don't personally have the experience, but my uncle who will be helping me does, and @mark olson, I agree, and have started to love the Marshall bass ton mostly because of your clips

Ceriatone kits have most of the easy stuff finished. They leave all of the dangerous stuff for you to do.

I totally want to build a Marshall style head. I built a tweed amp many moons ago. It's a lot of fun and super rewarding.
