CHEAP AMPS AT THE MOMENT , ANY COMMENTS ?

I have the nice problem at the moment of getting a second amp , both microamps for portability . There is an Ampeg Portabass250 and an SWR Headlite400 , both the same price . The SWR is obviously more powerful but the Ampeg is half price , is it a " better " amp or subjective ? . Im after a nice Hi-Fi clear tone .....im thinking the SWR ?? .

If your after a hi fi clear tone go for the swr. The headlite can also do a nice warm sound depending on how you adjust it.
