Used tube amps were a lot cheaper back then. I got the B15N cheap, because "The only reason we have one of those here is so people can hear how much better the new Ampeg transistor amps sound." Seriously, that is what the salesman told me. He claimed someone traded it in for one of the new ones.

| | | | Ampeg B3 ( 115, 4 OHMs, 150W). I use it for practice and for small gigs. I had to put wheels on it because at 72 lbs, it is too heavy to lug around. Great tone, loud, easy to operate. |
