Fender Frontman 15B, it was virtually free. Sounds good in its operating range. At least to me...back then...

Hartke LH500. Nice, phat and punchy. Loud and decent tone.
About $400 AUD.

I've got a 70's B-15 that I got for $200 in the early 80's. It's a fantastic sounding amp, for pretty cheap.

Bummer. I've got an old Fender Bassman 100 with the pyramid cabinet that I got for $250 in the late 70's? Louder, but doesn't sound quite as good. I blame the cabinet for a lot of that.
Used tube amps were a lot cheaper back then. I got the B15N cheap, because "The only reason we have one of those here is so people can hear how much better the new Ampeg transistor amps sound." Seriously, that is what the salesman told me. He claimed someone traded it in for one of the new ones.

Peavey Max 158. At $99 there's nothing to complain about for a home practice combo.

I got a Kustom DE200hd and a Hartke Transporter 210 I picked up for 50 bucks I use for practice. The head sounds great, though the cab leaves alot to be desired.

got a great deal on a warwick sweet 15.2 (120$), it's not the cleanest sounding amp, but it does the job perfectly!

My GB SHUTTLE 6.0 was ex floor stock, still with warranty & less than $500 Aus shipped. For Aus, that's cheap!
Great amp, very versatile & loud!

Ampeg B3 ( 115, 4 OHMs, 150W). I use it for practice and for small gigs. I had to put wheels on it because at 72 lbs, it is too heavy to lug around. Great tone, loud, easy to operate.

Hartke Kickback 12- very loud for 120 watts. I'd love to try the 10" version.
