....and the platform is right smack in the middle of 60 acres, with trees and sun shades overhead, a small creek running within 30 feet and a BBQ/dining area sharing the same general area.

There's a lot of concrete and that's what the playing platform is made of too.

The idea struck me that I can run two 600Watt rigs - one with 2x 410s and the other is an 810, but with an explanation-------------------

I wonder about running them back-to-back or separated by up to about 10-feet, and would that be a decent setup for closer to 360º sound dispersion?

I haven't heard anyone ask about firing the amplified sound 180º apart like that. Any ideas?

Back to back is OK, separated, never. But what about the rest of the band and the PA?

Oh - the guitars all have multiple amps and cabs so they too can use the idea.

We have a PA for my harmonicas and the vocalist; the keyboard can also use one of my older Peavey PAs - it's only 400 Watts, but it will add to his system too.

So - everybody will have 180º dispersion.

Concrete on earth. Please use something to isolate yourself from the slab...that's a potential electrocution risk.

Oh, yeah! I use a GFCI and make sure that it's plugged into a fully grounded circuit. That's what I was doing yesterday - checking it out for grounds and sufficient power.

There's even water out at that location. Nicely planned and executed by the owner for just this very application.

There's 60 Amps there for us to use, not counting the other leg that runs the lights and BBQ cooking area - which also has 240VAC @ 200Amps.

All my power strips and even the Furman have GFCI testers on them that are left running all the time we are there.
