So, in addition to my Gallien Krueger 400 RB IV, I spent around $100 for a pair of little Bogen 10 watt Challengers. I've heard that they absolutely sucked for bass, but I bought them to see what I could do anyway. One appears to have some caps drifting out of value, but the other works great. I have them plugged up to some Peavey 2x10s right now playing my computer through the good one. I just tried to use bass with one, and, to my amazement, it actually didn't sound that bad. I'm thinking of getting the 50 watter and putting some bigger transformers in it for some more bass. I will admit, they have close to no actual low end, but they sound pretty cool. I can see myself having some serious fun with these.
