Heard through the grapevine...

that Jim won't be producing the HD310...no 'market' for it...

I don't think there's a market for much of ANYTHING right now...everybody and everything's hurting.

But, as a big fan, Jim, ya gotta build SOMETHING!

Cheers,
Cameron

is that an 18" Berg PA sub with a hole for a pole? Wow...

I was kinda hoping for a HD310IP, or an HD212IP, but I guess not...

Cheers,
Cameron

Gig report!

I played a GREAT outdoor gig this weekend: The Moxee Hop-Fest. Moxee is a small town in central Washington in an area where MOST of the nation's hops are grown. As a dedicated "beerist," it seemed like the right gig to me to play.

This festival draws a HUGE crowd. Our beer garden audience numbered 2,500 - 3,000, and they were really into the music (... and it helps to have three good-looking girls in short skirts fronting the band). The stage was large, and the sound system and monitors were good and professionally run.

I brought two Berg AE212's, and ran 'em with an Aguilar DB-659 and Stewart WT 2.1. Wow!! The sound was loud (of course), but fuller, cleaner and punchier than with other amps I've used. This may be the best sound I've gotten from these cabs so far!

It's so fun to play when you're digging your sound! Great weekend!

Greg

I will always be outdone by Mr. Bowlus, but will still jump in. First, here's an early batch of Bergs I owned:

HT210, HT115, HT310, NV610. I also owned an HT212 (not shown). All great cabs, I just downsized a little.

Yes, I was stupid for selling that red tolex NV610, it was one of only two ever made.

Current batch'o'Bergs: HS210 (x2), HT112ER (x2), NV610 (black tolex).

And where is the Beer-fest photos of the band, Greg. No photos-no Beer-fest! That does sound like a very potent rig.

I played a corporate 'awards eve' gig on the weekend. About 1000ppl, good FOH system & good engineer.
So, stage sound only needed, but we were pretty loud.
Used my Mesa WA > AE212- lovely sound, & was DI out of amp, & mic'd with a Sennheiser 421(?) So FOH bass sound was sweet also.

Okay, how about this?

it wasn't a shot of the IP153 stack...

Seriously thinking about an Ampeg SVT Heritage and a large cab as yet to be determined this year...maybe a Berg NV610...I was hoping for a couple of 2x12's, maybe, AE if I can find them...

Cheers,
Cameron
