I don't currently own any Bergs, but I would if I could afford them (at the moment).
My former HT322 was a great-sounding cab!
A pair of HD112 and HD210 would be nice to gig with for a while to find out what combinations work best for my tone goals.

On the left, the big rig, on the right, the medium rig
there are no small rigs

Sounds really nice - loving the midrange grind. Totally different voicing to my old AD200b which is a lot deeper voiced. Tried bridging the channels which is cool but my favourite tone so far is the normal input of channel 2 vol@12 o clock, bass@3 o clock & treble@11 o clock both rockers off. Nice slightly hairy tone thats both deep but tight, still good midrange grind and nice zingy highs

| | Registered User | | | | Love that final AE210 revision! Still gig it regularly for smaller gigs. Nice, balanced tone that reminds me a bit of a 'small AE212', which is my all-time favorite Berg cab |

| | Registered User | | | | | Well, the NV610 had to go (moving to smaller digs); but keeping the AE212. It smoked on the gig last weekend. Sadowsky RV4/Genz S9/AE212. Real TalkBass rig.

STREAMLINER & AE212 too woofy.
Found it far better with both AE410\112 or NV cab. Each to their own.
I let go my NV cab, then realised my mistake & bought another. Happy now.

I let go my NV cab, then realised my mistake & bought another. Happy now. | For sure the NV is one graceful cab. However, I just plain and simple did not have room for it. Way it goes.
I have heard also that the Streamliner does not match with the AE212.
I am using a Shuttle 9. That's what I meant. Sorry for any confusion. Little trick I've found with the "limited" Shuttle EQ is to set the mid freq point at about 120 Hz and boost it a little. Goes a long way toward the Acoustic 360 sound I always liked and removes most of the bark from the head. That setup pairs very nicely with the AE212. Also sounds amazing with the Schroeder 15L, but that;'s another thread.
I'm still wondering how that AE212 would sound with an HD112 sitting beneath it and driving the pair with my SM12 with its lower mid set around 120 Hz and boosted...bet that dog would hunt.

Recently tried an Ampeg PF500 through the AE410 and it sounded like a really powerful PortaFlex.
