I voted for gloss black (to closely match the Duratex on my 12/6), but since you are doing the painting, you can make it any color under the rainbow.

Or color it like a rainbow.

I vote flat black.

I say leave it primer gray. Looks badass.

White is my second favorite grill color. Looks epic.

Gotta agree with rpsands, it would look pretty awesome and unique if you leave it how it is.

Then again, don't. I think I wanna do that color.

Most of the commercially built cabs I've owned had semi-gloss black grills so I've used semi-gloss on my homemade cabs to match (and when touching up the commercial cabs).

Ordinarily I'd suggest flat black. But since you're way into the "black on black" theme, I say go with the gloss black. It'll match the gloss black of your bass guitar - as well as stand out on its own - in a cool way...

I was going to say orange, then I looked at your bass.
Then I saw RPsands response, and I think I like that suggestion best, followed by Flat Black. I sort of think Glossy looks cheesy.

Flat black. Any other colour or finish will reflect the lighting and upset the colour balance of the TV cameras. TV producers tend not to like that!

You DO want to be on TV don't you????
