I have Orange cabs, and not surprisingly, they are orange. I like the black versions better, but the orange tolex has its own unique charm.

If you want to see a pallette of colors, check out the Avatar and Aguilar websites.

I think Carvin has a wide selection too.

Resale value is pretty much killed if you have anything other than basic black. Especially if it's a loud color. I really dig that electric blue tolex that Avatar has, but talked myself out of it. Sure; the cab's gotta make me happy. But when/if sale time comes around and you can't give the thing away you'll facepalm yourself for not just sticking with black.

Diamond Blue. Carvin has a pretty good selection of custom colors that you can get on just about anything as well.

There was recently a set of Avatars in blue in Classifieds:

Avatar tolex covered B410 Neo and B210 Neo

The 210 went for $235 shipped, and the 410 for $325 shipped. Gave me GAS

Much as I like the idea of colored tolex, if you gig with them, they're gonna get scuffed and dirty, so that's a con in my book. I do love the blue diamond tolex on an Ampeg, though. Tweed cabinets actually seem to look better to me after a lot of use, though.

It'd be cool to get something from the Mesa Custom Shop but in the end as stated above, 1. cabs are gonna get ripped/scuffed/torn, etc. so then you're like and 2. harder resell.

I saw a Mesa PH210 and PH115 f/s on eBay a while back that were custom done (NOT by Mesa) in Cowhide. Was pretty awesome. Like, the real fur and everything- not just a print!

It's the fanned frets playing tricks on your eyes. I've always wanted orange cabinets and when I was playing TE heads I almost sprung for a set of green cabs. As it is mine are currently black with custom grill cloth instead.

That neck is so straight and solid that most times I play I don't even have to tune.

...Sometimes people tell me that the bridge isn't mounted straight too.

Hey Chocolate Thunder, those Aggie's look damn nice. Different but not too extreme.
