So one minute im practising in my bedroom with my Trace combo with the volume only at 1 i might add... a few hours later, nothing. No sound eminating from it at all. I went through all the motions: removed the effects loop, tried another cable, tried a passive bass, still no luck. I'm 90% sure its an issue with the speaker rather than the amp itself - the fan still powers up, the overload light still comes on when i crank up the gain, and i even *briefly* lined out to my old practice amp which worked (not the wisest solution, im aware).
I'm taking it to the shop this week, but just wondered if you guys had any idea what the problem was? I got it used less than a month ago (its just over 10 years old i believe) and its very frustrating. Luckily theres no gigs lined up for this month and practices are postponed due to summer holidays, but still...
