compact amps ideas

hi,

im looking for a compact amp (around 10 kg and about a foot cubed) with a speaker no bigger than 10 inches. it will be for use at band practice (we have a quiet band) and need it to be small and lightweight so i can get it on my bus with my bass and school bag. my budget is around 200 (preferably cheaper). needs to be able to plug into a pa for gigging.

i like the look of the line 6 lowdown studio 110 and the new gallien krueger 1x10 combo.

So do I. It is a cute little baby.



And I love the sound. I finally got to record with her yesterday! The distortion sound (the "Grind" button) was perfect for one song. Bandmates and engineer were skeptical about me changing up my config in the middle of the session. But when I was live and they heard me, it was thumbs up all around.

I have played this amp at a jam with a drummer. I have played this amp at a jam with a drummer outdoors. That time she was totally dimed, but she basically held her own and didn't break. More than a practice amp for sure.
