I need to find a MM tube amp guru in Northern California. My last experience with this has got me gun shy. Can anyone recommend someone? Skip's has been eliminated. TIA

If it works out well add the contact to "good amp techs" in the stickies (faq).

Awesome Amp Tech

After a suggestion by fellow Souljourn I took my MM HD 130amp to Tony Imbesi. Tony worked for MM in the 70's He kept informed every step by email and fixed the amp perfectly. 4 new matched Ruby EL34s tubes, 2 transistors and op amp in the preamp and she sounds awesome. Gigging tonight with 4x12s
His rates are very fair and works on any amp, not just tube amps. Also does complete setups on guitars and basses. I give him 5 stars.

Here's a link to his website-
