Any idea on a good cone to handle distortion/synth? I have a peavy tnt 130. Also good single coils to go into a squier

By squire do you mean bass? There's a section for pickups that may get more detailed info. Depending on which BW is in there it can take most of or all of what a 130 can give so what's missing from the sound you have now?

Well, I'm doing hardcore stuff with a lot of distortion and slapping on top of that, so I need that twangy sound I get from a single coil.

If there's room in the baffle you might consider crossing to a 6" driver or making a little topbox with a 6 in it. That'll get more twang and topend. Distortion and tweeters don't get along too well.
