Connect a power amp to a Micro ?

Has anybody used a Tone Hammer 500 for a preamp ? I'm asking for some tips before I try it - Aguilar has not replied yet. I think that I could use the DI on the TH 500 with "Post EQ." Or the Effects Send ? My power amp has a XLR through input so I can still send to FOH although it would be post eq. Do you have any tips ?

Effects send should be post eq save the DI for FOH. You may need a unbalanced 1/4" to XLR cable, the effects send maybe at a slightly higher level that the DI as well.

Use the effects send. DI may not have enough output to drive your power amp. Should work just fine and sound great.
