cool bass distortion settings

i'm looking for some nice distortion settings ; nothing in particular just some 'cool bass distortion settings'.

something I like:

Gain=7 Reverb=3 Treble=4.5 Mid=5 Bass=4

P.S. I don't have a pedal so tell me if your settings include a pedal

Heh. You can't ask for generic amp settings, because every piece of gear behaves differently... and some gear won't distort no matter how you tweak it. If you give us your exact amp rig, then other users of that rig can help you get the sound you're looking for. Or, we could suggest other gear for you to try to get your sound.

The world of tone does not work like that. Your playing style, type of bass, pickups, finger or pick playing, your rig, and so on....will all affect what settings sound good to you. Distortion pedals are different and until you get a pedal, our information will not be helpful.
