Question Could I get problems with this?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello folks

I'm using a Hartke HA3500 (240 W at 8 ohm) to power a Ashdown ABM 400H (600 W at 8 Ohm).

Could that give me any problems?

Greetz,

Me

You should be fine --

Your cab is capable of accepting up to 600 Watts... but your head is only capable of putting out 240 Watts..

And your impediance is matched.. both 8 ohm.

If you had a head capable of putting out 600 Watts but a cab that could only accept 240... then you could get into trouble as your head is capable of overpowering your cab.
