I'd pass on that ... you'd be better off with an old Peavey TNT ... IMHO

I had one of these. Bought it new at a music store a couple of years back for $199 CDN.

The sound was OK and it had a few decent features, the most useful being the built-in tuner. I found it to be a decent intermediate amp. It's probably not too bad a deal at $130.

beware of crate bass amps... they aren't very reliable in my experience and dont sound very pretty either... a friend of mine had an earlier version of this model and it blew twice. There was another at a practice space my band rented out and it was loud enough to keep up with a solidstate marshall combo and a not too loud drummer. Sounded farty though... I'd watch out for a used peavey.

I had one of those in the early to mid 90's. It was a decent amp. If it is $130.00, and is still in great shape, then I say go for it but unless it is in great shape, I would pass.

I'd pass.

Not a terrible amp but not worth more than $100. My drummer has one so I practice through hers and it's exceedingly mediocre. Heavy and not terribly loud. Little or no note definition. As someone else said if you can find a Peavey TNT which pop up on craigslist a lot (at least around here) it would be a much much better amp for around the same price.
