Crate BX-50 Practice Amp

Hey everyone, it's really been a while since I've been played bass, and even longer since I've been on Talkbass, but I'm glad to be back.

I am now in college, and can't bring my half stack, so I'm looking to buy a practice amp. Mainly metal, christian rock, and funk.

Does anyone have thoughts on the Crate BX line? Specifically the BX-50? I've searched, but couldn't find anything on it within the past 5 years.

I found one used in "not bad, but not great" condition that "works just fine". for $50. It's 50watt in a 12" speaker, and has a headphone output. Should be worth it right?
