The 10" SLM in it REALLY needs to be upgraded, any suggestions for a good match? It's a 4 ohm. I know there are a ton of good options; I'm hoping to hear some good, supported reasons why another speaker would be a good match in this box/application. I realize that the box and speaker are allegedly specifically matched to each other, but I can't imagine that nearly anything would not be an improvement over this P.O.S.!
While I'm asking this fairly ridiculous question, how about a tweeter replacement recommendation while we're at it? This thing literally looks like something that would come in a Mattel product...
They took a really cool concept and a previously fairly decent quality product and - from what I read - totally junked it out when they moved production. For a tiny "acoustic" busking/campfire type application this will be a great unit once tweaked.
