CRAZY DEAL!! New Eden Navigator

Sign in to disble this ad
So I thought I would have a look on our local music shops website the other night and low and behold I seen some eden gear on there, which they have never stocked before down here in New Zealand. Better yet they were heavily discounted, the neavigator rediculously so. So much that I actually had to ring up the shop to see if it was a misprint. The manager assured me that the $499 NZD price tag was correct, that is down from a RRP of $2299 NZD!! When I asked why he told me that Eden done an enticement deal with them to try and get them to carry the brand. Well it enticed me enough to order it. Now I'm just not sure whether to keep it or sell it on and triple my money??

It appears as bold if there's a new post since you last clicked on it. That's your browser and cookies, not some fancy internet trick.

Also, that price is awesome. Snag one at that price, flip it, and snag another!

Thanks. It appears bold now. Also I forgot to mention that there was one only at that price so I have definately ordered it. Just not sure whether i will like the eden tone or not. I'm usually an Ampeg guy. If I do like it I'm still thinkin bout sellin it and then grab the wt550

If you really like the Ampeg tone, you probably wont be so hot on Eden stuff. At least, IME.

Raise the lows a notch, cut the mids a few notches, engage the Enhance and compressor about mid way, and you can get close to an Ampeg tone.

The Navigator is pretty versatile, its not just for getting an 'Eden' sound.

thanks guys I'm not sure whether to sell it just to make money on it so I have more to go towards whatever else, or whether i should try it a bit and see how I find it. Problem is that I need to get a cab aswell and I want to keep the cab and head the same. Unless I got a bergantino, that way I can switch around heads. However You can't get them here. I have been contemplating whether the HS210 would be enough for me though. I could probably get that from australia for a reasonable price. My friend has a NV610 and i Loved that

Buying the product to flip it might not be a good option. I saw musicansfriend.com sell the same thing for $699 USD. I think it might be the pre-amp which requires a power amp. IMHO I do not like Eden for their reliability factor. They sound beautiful, but had to ship a wt550 back 2x and a fellow local bass player blew his wt800 in the middle of a show.
