Crown XLS 602?

What do you think about this amp? Is it as powerful as a behringer ep1500? I noticed its not 2ohm stable so i would have to run in stereo. At 600w per side @ 4 ohms is it as powerful? Im looking at the specs and it seems to be. But its not 2 ohm capable so it makes me wonder.. And it has less overall watts but more per channel? Whats with that?

I have asked a bunch of amp questions so thanks to all who have helped me! Im still learning about all this and y'all are smarter than me!

Wait i got on the crown website and it says it is 2 ohm capable. So is this an all around better deal? More power, better name, same cost?

But is it 2U or 3U?

What cabinets do you plan to use with it? Crown amps are dead reliable with decent customer support so you can't really go far wrong.

I'll use it for now with 2 behringer BA410. Rated at about 1000w each i estimate they are really like 5 or 600. Thats just what i have for now. The cabs are 4 ohms each.

I have the XLS 402 in my PA rack. Same design just a bit less power than the 602. It sounds as strong as it should and been reliable. It'll do 2ohm per channel/4ohm bridged. The guy I bought it from used it in a bass rack rig. It's gonna be a heckuva lot more reliable than the behringer. Crown has a great rep and wouldn'r risk it on inferior stuff, even in a budget line of products. In the world of poweramps, basically if it says crown or qsc on it, it's good IMO.

Just bought the xls 602 for about $203 including shipping and GC 1 year repair warranty. Cosmetically not perfect but works good. Good deal?
