PM Johnk_10 I'm pretty sure he bought one or two. I have Peavey's version the IPR1600 and it is awesome. Much cleaner than the 50 lb iron sled it replaced.

I have three of the Crown's in PA service. Sound great to me. Run the subs and monitors very well. Your back will like them also. Very user friendly with all the programming on the front and not having to go to the back for switches etc.

I'm using it as my bass amp. Tech 21 VT Bass pedal in to an XLS1000 (bridged). It's loud as heck and sounds great.

This is before I got a second GK Neo 212 cab. Now I'm using 4X12 instead of the 115.

I am wanting to run a sansamp rpm, poweramp, and either a ampeg 810, or a gk 412. These amps look to be a really good value.

Im running my Sansamp RBI into a peavey PV 3800 power amp and im using two Ampeg SVT 410hlf classics for the cabs. I have more then enough power and I can get any sound I want from my sansamp RBI, and having two svt 410 hlf's make it easy to move them from gig to gig.

I use the XLS 1500 bridged as my main amp with a variety of cabs and preamps for different bands and situations. I get plenty of volume from it. I wish it had standard 1/4" speaker outs as well for utility purposes (my old harke cabs don't have speakon inputs) but i guess it is better to use speakon when running that much power anyways

I love the weight and ease of use! I do find it lacks a tiny bit of the deeper low end compared to other heavy type poweramps I have used, but people just tell me I'm hearing things...

I would use the HPF if it was at 30 or 40Hz, 50Hz is just pointless for bass.

Otherwise, a few gigs and many practices under the belt and haven't had any problems yet (touch wood).

I run an Aguilar Tonehammer into the XLS 1000 into a Carvin BRX10.2 cab. HPF set at 50 Hz is just fine- still plenty of low end, although I too would prefer 30 or 40 Hz.

More power than I currently need, with the ability to add another cab(s) or even bi-amp down the road. So far I'm pretty happy with it.

Can you run full range without any crossover point?

yes of course, the protection limiting and crossover are just added options for the PA world that may or may not be usefull to you

Mine is great. Super light weight. I was basically told that I would be foolish to buy anything else. It's the best power amp on the market in terms of weight and power. Why spend more on something heavier.

Love mine. Sounds great, nice and light.

Running an Eden Navigator into it, and driving a pair of EA VL-210's.
