How about effeciency?
I'm looking for a 4 ohm cabinet for both my SVT and Mesa Walakbout heads (both 300 watts at 4 ohms) that weighs 50-60 lbs, gets LOUD and sounds great.
Other than some of the 4x10 or 2x12 Neo's nothing fits the bill and all but the GK are pricey.
The fearful would be cool but is not effecinet enough for 300 watts.
This could change all of that!

This could change all of that! | it's pretty efficient and super loud with my SVT. Eminence rates them at 100.8db per speaker, and winSD rates them at 98db, so depending on who you go by, the cab has a 101-103db sensitivity. |

In return, the excursion (and displacement volume i.e. max acoustic power in deep lows) is lower.
The 3015 is definitely better than the 3015LF to work full range and / or with power limited to less than some 350W per woofer. I choose it for the 2nd reason.
The LF can put a lot more lows if electric power is not limited. But it reaches thermal limits before running out of excursion (with reasonable cabs and bass signals). So to me the "perfect" Kappalite 15 driver would be something in the middle. |

For comparison, the SVT 810 runs around 103 db. More "common" 215's would fall somewhere 97-100 I would think. Average there across most of their useable range. The box will dictate what happens below 200hz or so. |

Anyway 2 3015's are very loud with limited power. |

This begs the question, how much for cut sheets and sketches for assembly like the old EV TL drawings?
This could be the best solution for DIY guys with limited cash and low power heads (funny how 300 watts in now considered low power) |

Any chance your going to add these to your repertoire?
