do I have to be afraid of damaging the speakers by turning up the volume to a high level ?

Yes, you do, so don't turn the volume up to a high level.
If you hear distortion turn it down, or cut the bass EQ.

Depends what the definition of "afraid" is. You should get plenty of volume out of that rig. Is it indestructible? No. Used sensibly, you should be fine.

I would even try the 410 alone and compare the sound. It should handle the GK with no problem. If you get the volume and tone you want, it's one less thing to lug in.
