I have a David Eden NA-320 amp I bought used about 1 1/2 years ago that lost volume and started humming loudly. I was practicing last night and had the amp at 50% volume with an EA NL-210 and an EA CXL-112 (both cabs are 8 ohm) connected for a 4 ohm load. After about 45 minutes the sound degraded very quickly and the amp started humming loudly. I then turned the volume all the way down and unplugged my bass. Afterwards I turned the amp off and heard a loud pop from the speakers even with the volume all the way down. I did check the speakers with another amp and they seem to be working fine. The amp always had a slight hum when you would turn it on but it would go away in a second or two. I've used this amp a lot and never had an issue. Has anyone ever experienced a similar problem?
