5 bands.5 bass players. 5 styles of playing. From smooth thumpy Precisions to tube grinding blasting to a pumping and popping 5 string.
My SVT just smiled and took it all in stride. It's a January 1970 build with 6146's. The cab is filled with CTS ALNICO's.
It was on from 2 pm to 10 pm. NO PROBLEMS what so ever.
Talk about a shakedown cruise.

hell to the yeah-yeah, bill! i like to let visiting bassists use my 69 svt, too. i once let gary puckett's bass player use my svt, and he hates svt's and loves edens with the tweeter on. he was in hog heaven that night! told me my svt almost changed his mind about svt's, and if it had a tweeter in it, i think it would have changed his mind.

+1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOTALLY agree!! MY SVTII is the ONE amp I'd have NO regrets about doing this sorta thing with... & have done ONCE. Not with 5 bands etc tho. Just 2 other bands apart from mine.

So it was their bass player & bass into MY '92 SVTII into my Bergantino NV610!!

EACH player from each band commented how the rig was the best they'd EVER used!!!!!

- & I, for a change, was able to wander around the -outdoor- venue, both up close to the stage-for some stage sound, & around everywhere, for a take on HOW it all sounded from this perspective.
Something I rarely get to do. AND it Sounded GREAT BTW!!!

I wish I had one of those. Being a New Yorker though... I can't have one.

Treasure it. It's a beautiful thing.

2 seperate rehearsal rooms of mine have been broken into. Both times everything- everything was gone but the 810.

That was the cool thing. Hearing it all night from different areas. Really gave me a chance to listen to it. The picture shows "Long Tall Deb and the Drifter Kings".
They're getting all kinds of air time on Sirius 74 Blues. Let me tell you , Deb can sing. Check them out on You-Tube.
