Question Disconnecting a speaker in a 4x10 cab?

Can i disconnect a single speaker in a 4x10 cab and if so will i still be able to limp around on the other 3 for the time being?

you might be better off just using two for the ohms, the sound and power would be different.

Doing so will raise the tuning frequency of the cab, which could lead to failure of the other drivers.
