DIY headphones amp

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for a link to make my own headphones amp (something on the order of Pocket Rockit - Bass Products Detail, S1b PR-9050 Headphone Amplifier, but doesn't need to be fancy).

Anybody got a link out there?

Thanks,
-darryl

this comes to mind, as does the cmoy, though the author of that tutorial specifically states that it is a headphone amp, not a guitar amp. Both of those in fact are really intended to boost the headphone output of your PC or ipod / what have you.

one more link

I'm not sure any of these are quite what you are looking for, but perhaps a variation on the design could yield something close.

A DIY headphone amp is going to cost you at least $40 in parts if you are going to do it right. That same amount will get you a micro mixer that has a headphone out ready made.
