All my cabs are full range, preamp is a Line 6 BassBODXTLive with 6 years of tweaks.

However, my Hofner Club bass sounds a little better through my Acme B2 cab than it does through my Bag End s15 cabs. |

I have found that if I will be using both basses to set the Pedulla (active) and the Fender (passive) will pretty much be good to go, except for a volume increase on the bass to match. |

I never carry a spare on gigs, but I reckon something completely different would work fine for me if I ever did decide to. |

My active Warwick sounds great through my GK with the eq all set at 12 o'clock. I have to do a good deal more dialing in with my Jazz bass to get anywhere close the amount of thump that the Warwick offers, to the point that I rarely play my Jazz bass anymore. |

I have a Dinosaur -- yes, Dinosaur --P bass clone that sounds better than the OLP, but the action is terrible. I have two rigs, a TC Electronic BG250 combo and a Genz-Benz Shuttle 6.0 with two 112 cabs. I have to tweak the EQ on the TC for different basses, but the Shuttle sounds good with no changes.

But . . . maybe it's me!!! But seriously, am I the only person on TB that can say that has to dial every axe in to to get a good sound?
