Do you use a case?

I have one of those small Eden heads, and I was wondering if you guys carry them around in a case. Or if you just shove them in your gig bag.

I am thinking of making a case for mine.

I've been carrying my Eden WTX-500 in a messenger bag along with my cables. For me that works. And Eden doesn't seem to be making any kind of purpose made carrying case.

But in terms of a case that you could use for this purpose you could check out Genz Benz's bag for the Shuttle series heads. At $45 it isn't going to break the bank.

I like the idea of using a messenger bag.

i used to carry my lmii in a little gigskinz mixer bag. no need or want for a rack or flight case since that defeats the purpose of a micro head in the first place

Exactly my thought JimmyM. I was thinking of making some sort of fancy case for it, but that would get big, and heavy! I sold a big heavy all tube amp for this little thing, so I would like to keep it small

I use a cheapy laptop bag that I got for free at some conference. Perfect size for my GB Suttle 9.0, all cables and cords, a few pedals, my Fender fold-up stand and a notebook for my sheet music.

I carry the WTX-260 in a case made for a portable DVD player.

I took the head to BestBuy and chose a case that fit well, had enough padding, and some pockets for cables. Cost under US$10.

Hmmm - If I had a micro head, I'd put in in my gig bag or FX bag...

My current head is too big for that, but I did put it in a "Rack bag" that works *great* - Has a big pocket for all my cables, is nice & light. *Love* this thing...

I also have a 4 lb Eden head & I love it. I asked John Files (Bass Emporium) what I should carry it around with. He told me to go to Acadamy & get a gun case for it. I don't find myself shooting anything ever so I went in & they had a bunch of small plastic cases with foam already in there ready to cut & shape as you need. You could throw it off the Empire State Building & not damage the amp. It's very convenient, has a handle & just the right size...very good advice, IME...

Case

I went to the local Goodwill and bought a lik-nu case for
a small Notebook Computer and my Littlemark III fits inside
perfectly - 'bout the same size as your amp I think.

The side pockets hole my cords and I got away for only $3 bucks.

JimmyM, I've wondered about your gear traveling in the holds of large jets, riding on conveyor belts, and sliding around the baggage areas. It's spelled Y-i-k-e-s?
