Does anyone remember a bass practice tool advertised in Bass Player Mag?

The one I'm trying to find out info on is the one that was just about the size of a bridge and 1 pickup and had 4 or 5 strings all under tension. The strings looked to be all of 6-8" long. I think it attached to your lap or something but it was used for practicing your plucking technique. Does any of this ring a bell to anyone?

Anyone remember the name of it? It was always a small black and white add with a tiny pic. usually near the back of the magazine.

IMO yet another answer to a question that's not been asked. It does nothing that sitting down with your bass cannot accomplish better. Plucking a note cleanly is a combination of both your hands and not just one.

Yes Lomo you got it. Thanks.

Paul, you are correct but I thought I might be able to use one to play along with tracks in the car during my 1+ Hr. commute to work and back every day. That's 2 hrs of casual play that will keep my fingers tough and the blisters away.

It doesn't look like they're available anymore. Probably because they never worked.... The ones VSR linked look like they might bee too big to use in the car....

Thanks anyways guys.
