Does anyone use a Compressor + EQ in their rack set up?

Sign in to disble this ad
I've been considering adding an EQ and possibly a compressor to my rack rig, and of course, trying to be mindful of space and weight at the same time.

I have seen a few 1U units that have compressors and an EQ in one unit.

Some are channel strips with mic/line pre's and some are just effects units.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

Any issues with running my existing preamp into a channel strip?

Ultimately I would really like a simple to use compressor to add some sparkle and clean up my technique a bit, and 2 or 3 parametric EQ bands.

The Sabine Graphi-Q series is an example. Just looking for other options/suggestions.

Thanks!
