Done with my rig (on the cheap)

After moving some unused equipment through a consignment shop and CL (thanks ampcar fan) and selling off my old motorcycle race leathers and helmet, I finally got a setup that I am content with.

The MKIV head was $100 off Ebay, had a broken solder joint and a loose screw causing a short on the board.
The Ampeg cab was used at GC in Indianapolis and the Peavey cab was picked up yesterday for $99 at GC in Akron Oh. The Peavey cab sat at GC for about a year for $149 and last month I went in and pointed out how bad the tolex was in a few spots and that it's been sitting for almost a year. I offered them $120 for it. They refused my offer!! Then dropped the price to $99. Go figure.

I have a bad habit of leaving the straps covering the fronts of my guitars whenever I photograph them

Only played in my basement so far, not bad sounding. Waiting to do a project with the youth group at church but I'm afraid it'll be too much for the small area we play in. As the saying goes, "Better to have and not want than to want and not have."

So very true. I've always been a fan of having more power, cone area, etc... than you need. Best to allow your gear to get the job done without breaking a sweat.

I can feel the sound.

Standing in front of the stack, you can feel the air being pushed by the 15" and the 4x10. Great rumble.
