Doubling down and getting another 410 Hi, After much research on this site I decided to double down and add another 410 cab. to the 410 I have. I was going to add a 15, but many here say that is a no no. I was going sell the 410 and go with a TC Electronic 212, and add another one later and have a vertical stack. But since I already have the 410, and there are good deals on 410s out there, two 410 cabs it is. Now I just hope I make enough gigging to pay for the Chiropractor bills:) |
Just make sure it is a matching 4X10. Any other 4X10 may have a different voicing and also cause problems when mixed. |
Thanks. I was not sure, but figured if the different sized drivers could cause problems when mixed different 410 cabs could as well. I was on ebay last night bidding on a used 212 cab. It went higher than I was willing to spend but I came across a deal on the same Ashdown 410 I have. I figured I would give it a shot. If I don't like it I can always sell them and not lose that much on the deal. I actually hate this. I feel like one of those crazy guitar players always looking for that elusive perfect sound.:D I just want to setup, hook up, crank up and go! |
